, a native of Adel, Georgia, is a versatile visual artist and product designer. He holds a Master of Design degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Retail Studies from The Ohio State University. With a lifelong exposure to art and design, Kendel's creative journey has been shaped by his educational background and diverse experiences.

 

During his time in Chicago, Kendel pursued a Master of Design in Fashion, Body, and Garment program, which sparked his interest in exploring design concepts beyond commercial fashion.

He delved into the relationship between fashion, the human body, and human interactions with surrounding spaces and objects. This exploration led him to develop a conceptual approach to his practice.  Kendel Woods' artistic practice encompasses a multidimensional exploration of design concepts, incorporating elements from culture, fashion, sports, and personal experiences. His work reflects a deep understanding of the intersection between art, culture, and the human experience.
