Studio Hop Mobile App.

As the lead UX/UI designer for my bootcamp's final project, I developed a mobile app aimed at assisting artists,collectors, and gallery owners to network, showcase, and sell their artwork. The entire project ,from research to prototyping, spanned a two-weeks period.

DESIGN Process:

The problem at hand :

Visual artists need a streamlined platform to effectively present their artwork, facilitate sales, and forge meaningful collaborations with collectors and galleries.

Interviews

During the interviewing process, I conducted a total of seven interviews with various stakeholders in the art world, including artists, collectors, and gallery owners.

 

Through these interviews, I gained valuable insights into the specific use cases and needs of a social app tailored to this community. To further inform my analysis, I also examined their current usage of other similar apps in the market.

Competitive Analysis I conducted a comparative analysis of five social platforms to identify their respective strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. By conducting this analysis, I aimed to identify areas where StudioHop app could make a meaningful impact in the market.

Personas

I wanted to form a deeper understanding of our users' goals, needs, experiences, and behaviors. I created 3 personas for each of the  user segments. These was based on the interviews. I used these personas to gain insight to solve the problems of the users.

With research and key insights identified. I came up with a solution goal:

To create a streamlined platform for artists to showcase their work and network with others. For collectors and gallery owners to find and purchase new art.

I did some Rapid sketches to come up with screens, features, and how the user will navigate through the app.

Completion user task flow.

Drawing inspiration from the tone, style, and target market of the project, I developed a vision for the user interface design. Using this vision as a guide, I created a high-fidelity wireframe to visually articulate the design direction.
